Compressive Strength

Tests on 14mm thick CeramiBoard® having 3 layers of corrugation and a density of 525Kg/m³, produced the following results:

• Compressive strength - 0.45Mpa (at 5% deformation)
• Flexural strength 8Mpa (parallel to corrugation)
• Flexural strength 4Mpa (perpendicular to corrugation)

The above values represent a massive increase of about 100% over the untreated cardboard.
