Cost

An attractive feature of the CeramiBoard® process is the fact that besides recycled cardboard, an abundantly available safe industrial waste product, is also used as a major component. As a result, the cost of the chemical mixture can be as low as US$0.15/kg (dry weight). When combined with recycled cardboard, the CeramiBoard® process can be used to convert a low cost, low performance product into low cost, high performance building materials, capable of competing with traditional building materials such as concrete, fibre cement and plasterboard.
