Fire Rating
As a result of its non-combustible coating, CeramiBoard® has a remarkably high fire resistance, meaning the product can be used to create fire rated walls, without the need for protective, but expensive, steel
sheets.
A full-scale (3x3 meter) fire test carried out by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Sydney produced a fire rating of 1 hour.
